#39 | 09.02.2026 | Are we (re/un)considering the privileges/(dis)advantages of an achiever while speaking about the achievement?

1. Are we bold enough to raise the bar for ourselves when comparing our feats with those of the underprivileged?
2. Do we do this exercise for our children? Do we teach them to compare them with their yesterday’s version and not blindly comparing?
3. Do we ensure that we do not say lame excuses to ourselves that we are underprivileged?
4. Example: The privileges of a Dalit woman Vs an uppercaste man!
5. Are we kind enough to walk on their shoes?
6. இத்தனைக்கு அப்புறமும் “ஏனெனில்” என்ற சொல்லுக்கு அறிவியக்கத்தில் மதிப்பில்லை. செஞ்சியா? இல்லையா? That’s the only question!
7. When we do an unjust comparison, we do injustice to us as well as to the creator.
8. Many of the achievers in many fields are the ones who started on the shoulders of their ancestors (fathers)
9. அப்போது நான் செய்த சாதனைக்கு என்னதான் மதிப்பு? பதில்: அதை லௌகீகமாகவோ/உலகியல் ரீதியாகவோ மதிப்பிட முடியாது என்பதுதான் சுடும் உண்மை
10. Outliers are everywhere — Demography, Age, Right man in the right time & place, niche things… We all have our own (dis)advantages. How we play within that boundaries is the QUESTION!
