This wasn’t just about gaming — it was the beginning of my fascination with how complex systems fit together, and where my love for computers truly began.

Without realizing it, I was training myself to think like a computer scientist: breaking down complex systems into smaller, manageable pieces.

Researching the Build: A World of Comparisons

The first step was research — and a lot of it. I spent hours comparing processors, motherboards, RAM speeds, and graphics cards. I learned that every component had to work in harmony with the others, like a carefully balanced ecosystem. Each choice came with trade-offs: more power often meant more heat, better performance meant higher cost, and compatibility could make or break a setup.

Along the way, I began to see patterns. The process wasn’t just about picking the “best” parts; it was about problem-solving — analyzing data, predicting bottlenecks, and understanding how one decision influenced the next. Without realizing it, I was training myself to think like a computer scientist: breaking down complex systems into smaller, manageable pieces.
