The World Demands You Justify Your Existence.

“What do you bring to the table?”

You empty out your guts. Examine every layer of flesh within. Lobotomize your own self.

The silence in-between moments continually whispers:

“What would justify my act of continuing to exist?”

“I must offer value”

Value.

Here, it means to trade love for man-made virtue, wonder for compliance, and time for money.

To benefit those in society who need it least but want it most.

You are human, provided you have a bank balance attached to your name. Your value is precisely what you earn.

The death of you without wealth is not equal to a single wound that inflicts the owner of a mansion. You are a number. They are a story.

But in this system of equal opportunities, you CAN chase virtue. Just you comply for as long as you breathe.

Do not question or critique as people die in the process. Their existence did not quite justify. You’re not one of those, are you? Look how beautiful the world is!

Refusal

To live in a world that ties worth to socially constructed definitions of value, you must acknowledge and emphasize that existence in itself is abundant. Each breath a miracle, each thought a universe.

Years of ingrained social norms distort our perception of what it means to exist. To make a human believe the most valuable thing they can do is to contribute to and seek validation from socially constructed virtuous identities is one of the most inhumane things that could be done to them.

To live is to add value. To love is to surrender to wonder. Your strongest form of resistance is to exist within your skin with certainty, and to preserve your creativity and critical thought; to take control of each breath, and its value.
