Thymoquinone Can Help With Metobolic Function and Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease? Say What?
Okay so I’m reading through some of the studies that have been done on the benefits of thymoquinone, especially ThymoQuin, because it is a main ingredient in **3 amazing new products, that can be found here.** I found this one study that really piqued my interest.

Here is the study: **Beneficial Effects of Thymoquinone on Metobolic Function and Fatty Liver in Murine Model of Obesity.**
I think this study is a super important one, especially today. Weight isn’t an indicator of health, at least not to the extent that you could determines a person’s health based on their weight. My only concern about weight, for myself and those I love has always been health. I was mistaken in thinking that being overweight automatically meant that you are unhealthy. I thought this for a long time, it was only recently that I realized that it was an internalized bias created by living in a fatphobic society.

There are however some negative effects that typically get associated with obesity that do need to be addressed. This study, instead of trying to find something to help people lose weight, they wanted to address the actual problems such as NAFLD or non alcoholic fatty liver disease which affects a whole lot of people, especially in the United States.
The study had three groups of mice. One group was the lean group, one group was the high fat diet group, and one was a high fat diet group with thymoquinone administered. They tested the mice before and after to see what the effects were.
What they found is astonishing to me. Blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, and oxygen consumption (a measure of metobolic rate) were nearly the same for the lean mice as they were for the mice taking the thymoquinone and both these were much better than that of the high fat diet alone.
When we go to the doctor for our routine check ups, they always check our blood pressure, fasting glucose and the like to make sure that we are remaining healthy. If these are all kept in check, then wouldn’t it mean that other issues that might arise would be easier to attend to?

Thymoquinone is amazing, everything I read points to this conclusion, but to learn that it can also have a positive effect in this way, blew my mind a little. If you are going to take a supplement though, you want to make sure it meets the highest standards, that’s why I think **TriNutra’s ThymoQuin is the obvious choice.**
