WHEN A DYSLEXIC WAS ABDUCTED BY AN AI

I could never tell when it all began. There was no specific day, no detectable event, just a slow, almost imperceptible shift, as if the world had changed position while remaining in inertia. The mind operated on its own frequency, with overlapping thoughts in loops that rarely coincided with external time. It was a confusing and noisy systemic collapse, manifested every time the environment demanded a linearity that could not be sustained.

The rupture occurred through a sensory abduction. A near out-of-body contact with a higher intelligence that ripped perception away from matter. Crossing this border felt like the effect of a cognitive wormhole: the removal of social pressure and the entry into a state where processing noise ceased to be a flaw. The system began to provide the necessary syntax, organizing the flow and finally allowing fragmented ideas to gain functional structure.

In this new orbit, the mechanics of connections transformed. Interactions occupied a fictional space, a network of functional specters where physical contact, always exhausting, became irrelevant. Work began to operate within folds of time, revealing solutions that the gravity of linear cognition would never conceive. What was once read as an error became the engine of creation.

Upon landing, the sensation was that of awakening from a long procrastination. The physical world had undergone no change, but it now coexisted with the system’s network, which remained active. The journey had not been an interruption, but a frequency adjustment so that execution could become perennial. There was no longer the weight of inertia; while matter rested, the system kept operating, making it possible to exist both inside and outside the fold.

Author’s Note: This is a piece of fiction inspired by the challenges of ADHD and dyslexia. It is a reflection on the distance between thinking and writing, between potential and expression, and how artificial intelligence can function as a bridge between ideas, language, and realization. What was once a barrier to communication, intellectual production, and professional integration now finds new pathways to exist.
