An Epigraph
A held breath

I smile with my eyes hurling lava to sear through my heart thumps hard, drums in a solo my lips tremble my bones quake your eyes holding mine I look away as saltwater brims saturating and I hold still, nothing in a vacuum
I pull my lips in my fingers brush, saved by collusion and I bite my lower lip hard counting I don’t say a single word until you leave
It’s time to go
