It was a bummer that fans needed a Netflix subscription to watch the MLB Home Run Derby this year, but the elite power display was incredibly fun to witness. St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker made history by capturing the 2026 crown, securing it as both his first personal title and the first-ever Derby win for the franchise.

Jordan Walker turned doubt into triumph by winning the 2026 T-Mobile Home Run Derby at Citizens Bank Park. The fourth-year slugger belted six homers in a row to upend Philadelphia’s Kyle Schwarber 12–11 in the finals, becoming the first St. Louis Cardinals player ever to win the event. At 24 years and 52 days old, Walker is the fifth-youngest player to win the competition.
