ROARING 20'S
Adulthood is a total trenches on its own
Being 20 felt like a hug. A moment to sit down and understand that I had to outgrow, whatever hurt from my childhood.
It was a lot to carry from childhood and I had to let it go. In order to enjoy this 20's.
I finally began to unfold slowly and steadily. Broke down a thousand times. Manyyyy times.
Made friends and lost friends. Fell in love with myself again and again. This age stretched me in a lovely way.
Taught me lots of lessons and also showed me that I've growned so much, that I don't complain as much as I use to. Now I take responsibility and let gratitude sit on my tongue like candy.
Why I called it roaring is because the experiences and harsh truth of reality, threw me off balance because it crushed whatever Disney idea I had of life.
This age was a blessing to my younger self, a healing she needed and the one ready to finally live not survive.
I loved being 20, best age of my life. It didn't break me but built me. It wasn't one where I lived my life hoping to move to the next like it was a film with scenes I didn't like. I lived every moments, hated the ones that demanded too much for me.
But now I'm another 20 older and even though anxiety still sits quietly in my heart, I'm hopefull that it only gets better.
Happy birthday to me.

Cheers to this new age, cheers to more stepping stones, cheers to everything wonderful that this new age offers.
