Coyote, Eagle, Raven

A Poem

It’s time to run

Run into the coyote sun

Along side the raven and eagle clouds

They’re screaming rain down upon me

Talking to me and giving me a message

Where I’m at will lead to death

Death of the heart and soul

My animal heart and tree limbs

Blood that is half sap and the other half salt

The coyote sun is calling me

Run alongside the raven and eagle cloud

To find your way back home

Back home to the land of the wild
