SOLVED — Error Couldn’t find package “@aws-sdk/client-s3” on the “npm” registry — Connect to feed

when installing a npm package above error is displayed, this is standard amazon node module,

The issue typically arises due to registry misconfiguration or network-related restrictions, such as a firewall or proxy settings blocking access to the npm registry. Here’s a breakdown of how it was resolved in my case:

1. Ask Platform team to update registry or
2. If you are using ADO you may need to connect to feed, click on the button in registry page link of you organisation and follow instruction.

you may need to create a token , encode it and then paste it back into .npmrc
