This New Moon Asks You To Slow Down To Reach For The Stars

Many astrologers have been calling our attention to the rare astrological alignments of July 2026 for several years — if not longer! With the shifts already underway, it is perhaps natural to expect something major is about to happen!

Sometimes that is the case, though more often it is only hindsight which allows us to link such events!

In fact, the celestial weather in the last few years has consistently encouraged us toward enormous change while simultaneously asking we slow down, reflect and exercise restraint.

Trusting meaningful transformation will unfold in accord with its own timing.

The future is rarely built by one extraordinary moment! More often, it is created through thousands of ordinary moments.

When we choose alignment over fear, presence over urgency and purpose over distraction.

This New Moon Holds The Past, Present And Future

This *rare alignment* involves the outer planets, which move incredibly slowly. Meaning the shifts they indicate tend to also unfold slowly!

Marking the opening of a new chapter, rather than the moment the whole story changes!

The alignments being built through this month are part of a much longer cycle. Each of us is also being reminded to participate in the creation of the New Earth, rather than simply observing it take place!

The new moon rises in its own sign — Watery Cancer on 14th July. Being tightly conjunct the recently retrograde Mercury suggests there could be some confusion or delays around whatever seeds are being planted! It is holding past, present and future within its arms.

Cancer energy is quiet, comfortable and spiritual, broadening to include our ancestors and families. It is an ideal moment for staying home, going within and completing spiritual rituals!

This supermoon allows you to reflect on the past and better understand your foundations. So enabling you to build toward your deepest desires and endeavours. For without stability beneath your feet, you will never reach to the stars!

14th July 1789 was when the people in France stormed the Bastille, bringing down the French monarchy. Very quickly thereafter, the democratic ideas laid out in France spread to Europe and beyond!

At the storming, Jupiter was in Leo and the last occasion Pluto was in Aquarius. Between 15th and 25th July all the outer planets and Jupiter align at 4° of their signs. While each planet will activate different houses depending on our own natal configuration, the overall focus is on building a life that feeds who we truly are.

The alignment begins with Uranus, the Great Awakener, moving into a sextile with Neptune, the planet of dreams, illusions, intuition and spirituality. A moment when divine wisdom meets technological innovation!

Three days later, Uranus in Gemini trines Pluto, the planet of transformation, for the first of five such conjunctions — the last one in May 2028. The previous set was in 1921/22.

Its purpose — to shift what has been stuck for years! It will do so, though in a supportive manner!

20th July action taking Mars moves sextile to Saturn. This provides you with the determination and endurance to succeed in achieving your desires. Earlier the same day, our planet of expansion and growth, Jupiter, moves opposite Pluto — creating tension between expanding and transforming, gentle growth and absolute change!

”Continue to allow this period to support you by ensuring you create space to rest. It will be essential to ensure you are fully present as events begin to unfold. This will not be immediate, rather it may seem simply creating more space for you to renew yourself — which is the case!

The momentum will not begin to accelerate for several weeks yet!

That is not to say, this is a moment to simply allow to pass! Rather, it is creating space for you to prepare and be ready to embrace when your creation begins to manifest.

This is as true for your own life as it is for the collective. Hence, the need for each of you to choose whether to remain as you are or step into the new life you desire to live.

For many, their choice will be driven by what they do not want in their life, rather than their true desires. Unfortunately, this will continue to attract what they do not want rather than what they desire!

Your Choices Will Determine The Feel Of The New Era

This is how manifesting has and always will operate. It must be so because you alone are the creator of your life. Hence, to focus on what you do not want will mean that is what you attract.

There is also the middle road, where you do not set out what it is you desire in your life. In which it will be the agglomeration of the desires of others that will manifest.

It is an exercise in your free will, which will determine how the new which is being created will manifest for each of you.

A gentle reminder for each is that you raised your hand, indicating your desire to incarnate in this moment the cycles of evolution are changing direction. You did so in order to gain experience from them. The cycles will not be stopping or change direction!

They are underway; only the choices you make will determine the look and feel of the era which emerges. This is the opportunity for each of you, no matter how much you believe yourself to be spiritual or not!

Yes, you may be more aware of the cycles than others, each, though, has a part to play in what manifests. All souls are an essential part of the process. No one is excluded, though the role for each is different, for each of you is unique!

Hence, each of you has their own abilities, gifts and skills to bring into play. This is where you will find your own experience to add to your own growth!

Be present — to do so means becoming aware of your own guidance. The most powerful ones are the messages from your body.

They are available in every moment of every day. Hence, the call to become aware of those messages, including pain and dis-comfort when your body is asking for your help!

Be Inspired By Your Truth And Human Potential

Oftentimes, this is to release a long-held belief; on other occasions, it is asking you to check into your guidance rather than continuing with the habits and patterns each of you has developed.

Our message to each of you is to learn to listen more closely to such messages. They will help guide you through this period of renewal and so the coming period of transition!”

On 21st July, Jupiter in Leo enters a sextile with Uranus in Gemini. These two connecting increases your capacity for change and innovation. Fortunate events can then occur as a result of your willingness to entertain the unusual and to think outside the box!

The last of the outer planet alignments at 4º of their signs occurs on the 25th when Neptune moves sextile to Pluto. This invokes your pioneering spirit, making you unafraid to challenge the accepted way of thinking and doing things. Enabling you to deconstruct any aspect of life, system, belief or procedure.

Mercury stations direct on 23rd July, with the shadow period clearing in mid-August.

Saturn goes retrograde on the 26th. This will tend to limit you more than usual. When you stay dedicated to your plans, taking action to create them and follow your truth, rewards will appear after Saturn goes direct on 10th December.

Also on the 26th, the Nodal axis changes signs into Aquarius and Leo until March 2028. To balance this axis, we need to become leaders (Leo) who serve the people (Aquarius) — not dominate them.

The full moon in Aquarius rises on 29th July, reminding us our greatest gifts are not meant to be hidden or hoarded. The future belongs to those who know how to celebrate their individuality whilst remembering we all need support!
