Pinterest Tips for Newbies!!📌

I know it’s been an eternity since I last wrote — so hello :), and a lot has changed about me.

To all of you who don’t know me, I’m Aishwarya and I love writing, reading, painting, doing Taekwondo, and most important of all… sharing ideas!!

Firstly, make your profile, or you can update your profile if you already have one. Don’t share your personal info, because anyone can choose to view your profile. You can choose a fun name and username that matches your personality, along with a photo (can be found in Pinterest if you know what theme you want). One example:

If you don’t like these usernames, you can use this prompt to paste in any of your usual AIs (Claude is recommended): “Give me [10/20] aesthetic Pinterest names and usernames based on the vibe: [insert vibe e.g. hip hop, cottagecore, dark academia, baddie, etc.]. Make the names feminine/masculine/neutral. Also give username variations for my favourite name with dots, underscores, numbers and aesthetic symbols. Then show my chosen name in different unicode fonts that look cute for a profile.”

Secondly, to save a pin, press SAVE beside the pin, or you can press the 3 dots under a pin and press SAVE, then it will show the option to save the pin to a board-you can save it to any board you like or create a new one instead, or it can look like the image below and you can save it to your board of create a new one instead.

Thirdly, you can edit the cover of the board using any pin added to the board as the cover. You have to go to your boards by pressing the 4th icon on the left, and click on any board, then press the 3 dots and press “Edit Board”, then you can edit the cover of the board or you can edit any details of the board.

Next, you can chat with anyone in Pinterest by clicking the message icon, pressing new message, then you can search by name or email address, then select the person you want to chat with.

Finally, you should be careful of the first few words you use to search in Pinterest because it sets an impression on Pinterest.
