Juni led his team to the final with the decisive assist from a corner at the last minute.

21st August 1994

The national championship begins !

The level is tougher for Sport Recife, and Juninho misses the target.

He still starts the Brazilian championship with an assist.

Vasco was simply better.

NucLeo : From then on, I stopped taking screenshots and pushing to pause every time Juninho took a free kick. It was too time-consuming (and I had a superstition that it was preventing him from scoring xD).

Juninho plays one out of two match because they play every three days. He performs well.

14th September 1994

At home, during the derby “Clássico dos Clássicos” against Nautico, Juninho scored

HIS FIRST FREE KICK.

NucLeo : I’m relieved, I thought it would never happen.

Board is very happy and Juninho scored his first FK for his 30th match.

As I said earlier, we play every three days and we’re a bit short on players. So I looked for players who had played for the club (as specified in the rules) to start strengthening the team.

Firstly, Brazilian international centre-back Wilson Gottardo :

Next, a player who is more difficult to find, the left back, Vitor. That’s good because I only had one left back until now.

And the promising one (he was already in the game, I’m lucky), Valdomiro.

The club continues its journey in the national championship. We’re getting pretty good results. And Juninho has something to do with it.

9th October 1994

We crush Flamengo in a fiery atmosphere.

And Juninho opened the scoring

on a free kick !

After 15 match days, Sport Recife has climbed up the table.

We now welcome a player with a rather incredible career path.

And a forward to support the young Irani, who is having an exceptional season at the age of 17 (look at that)

Juninho after 40 matches : 5 goals, 12 assists and 5 MotM. 2 free kicks. 23 in long shots and now 10 in finishing.

Two final matches in which Juninho proves decisive, and the season comes to an end for Sport Club do Recife.

The club finishes at the doors of the top of the country (worst place).

Already a year spent alongside Juninho Pernambucano. Only 2 free kicks.

I have my doubts about the possibility of achieving this record, but I’ll give it a few more seasons to see where it takes us.
