Life Like a Map

life is like a map full of roads to take and places to go decisions to make

keeping still for rest and sleep eases our trips our minds and bodies slow down silence on our lips

there’s much to overcome our bodies take the weight of all that comes our way sometimes like a train fast and so great

we can embellish the hard moments knowing we can overcome with wisdom, patience, strength, help, and rest instead of being undone

life is like a map a trip we take often much better than not being awake for living is better than a coffin

we must do what we must we must have the inclination for life waits for no one a magnet of destination.
