Awesome morning for a Sea Soak!

The turtle grass and sargassum rolled ashore overnight, but the water was nearly crystal clear this morning. At the end of our walk, there was no question where I needed to be.

We had a middle-of-the-night thunderstorm, and all the dogs hid in our bedroom. Little Leo is the only one allowed up on the bed since he doesn’t take up much room. He is 13 years old now and a bit gray around the fray. I don’t know how well he sees because he has cataracts. He has selective hearing, but that’s nothing new. He has fits of sputtering coughs, but none of this slows him down. Especially when it comes to beach walks. He never misses one!

A lady lost a nice pair of sandals. We moved them away from the surf, thinking she would return to claim them. It hasn’t happened yet, but I think they look cool, displayed on a piece of sandy driftwood, so there they will stay!
