A few years ago, cloud computing was just another buzzword something you learned, added to your resume and moved on from.
But today, we’re living in a completely different era.
The cloud is no longer just infrastructure it’s the backbone of everything we interact with. From AI assistants to global startups, from real-time payments to streaming platforms, everything is powered by the cloud.
And the numbers make it even more real.
The global cloud market has already crossed $400+ billion, growing rapidly with the rise of AI . Over the next decade, it’s expected to reach $1.6–2 trillion by 2030, driven largely by artificial intelligence and digital transformation . In fact, cloud and AI together are projected to contribute over $12 trillion to the global economy .
And what’s even more fascinating?
We’re still early.
Only about 30% of workloads have moved to the cloud, meaning the biggest wave of innovation is yet to come.
But here’s the part no statistic tells you:
Behind this massive shift are builders.
