Portable Medical Imaging

MRIs are bulky, and CTs are highly dangerous. We need something else that’s cheap and just as effective.
Enter Molecular Radar Imaging (MoRI). It is a handheld imaging tool that uses radio waves to image your body. Here’s how it works: You dope the body using Fluorine-19 in the form of inert fluorine carrier — like Perfluorocarbons (PFCs). The body completely ignores the chemical, but it seeps into each and every crevice of the body. By tuning your system strictly to the resonant frequency of Fluorine-19, the background noise floor drops to absolute zero. The body becomes a ghost.
When our device picks up a signal, there is no ambiguity, no shadow-reading, and no complex filtering required. If the radio waves echo back, the target is there. If they don’t, it isn’t.

This is my invention, and I hope you found it interesting. If you use ultra dense MEMs emitters and receivers, coupled with some fast computing, you can get micrometer resolutions out of a really small device. Plus, it’s way safer than being subjected to really intense magnetic fields that are prone to accidents. You could have one of these devices at your home even.
Okay, that’s all for today. I hope you find something interesting in this article. I certainly found writing it very interesting. Until next invention, bye!!
