Sabu has passed at 60… and I don’t even know how to put into words what this loss really means. He wasn’t just my favorite wrestler — he was the reason I ever gave a damn about wrestling in the first place. The man was a walking storm. He didn’t need a mic. He didn’t need a script. Sabu gave his body to this sport in ways most people will never understand. While other guys were getting handed titles and safe pushes, Sabu was breaking his bones, slicing his arms open, and flying off ropes with no fear. For what? Not for mainstream glory. Not for clout. But for the love of it. For the fans who actually felt something when he stepped into a ring.

He changed the game. He influenced every single hardcore wrestler that came after him — every single one. But did he ever get the real credit? No. Because he didn’t kiss ass. He didn’t play the politics. He stayed real. And the business never gives flowers to the real ones while they’re here.
