When Heaven Feels Silent
Trusting God in the Waiting
When Heaven Feels Silent
Trusting God in the Waiting

There are moments in life when you don’t know what else to do except pray.
I’m currently in one of those moments.
Lately, I’ve been carrying a burden that stays on my mind almost every day. I’ve prayed about it countless times. I’ve talked to God about it when I wake up and before I sleep. I’ve asked Him for direction, for peace, and for a breakthrough.
Yet nothing seems to be changing.
And if I’m being honest, there are days when I quietly ask myself, “God, are You hearing me?”
As Christians, we’re often encouraged to pray and trust God. I believe that with all my heart. But sometimes the hardest part isn’t praying. The hardest part is waiting after you’ve prayed.
Waiting when the answer doesn’t come.
Waiting when the situation remains the same.
Waiting when you’re doing your best to stay faithful, but you’re tired and unsure of what comes next.
A few days ago, I was scrolling through old photos on my phone. I came across pictures from a season of my life that I thought I would never survive.
At that time, I felt overwhelmed and confused. I remember praying constantly and wondering when things would finally get better. Looking back now, I can see that God was working in my life even when I couldn’t see it.
The problems eventually passed.
The pain didn’t last forever.
And the things I once cried about became testimonies I now share with others.
That moment reminded me of something important.
Just because I can’t see God working right now doesn’t mean He isn’t working.
Maybe the situation I’m facing today will one day become another testimony of His faithfulness.
The truth is, I don’t have all the answers. I’m still learning to trust God in this season. I’m still learning not to let fear or worry take over my thoughts.
But when I look back on my life, I realize that God has never abandoned me.
Not once.
There were times when I thought I wouldn’t make it through, yet somehow He carried me.
Not always in the way I expected.
Not always as quickly as I wanted.
But he was there.
So today, even though I don’t fully understand what God is doing, I’m choosing to trust Him.
Not because everything is perfect.
Not because I have all the answers.
But because He has been faithful before, and I believe He will be faithful again.
If you’re reading this and you’re also going through a difficult season, I want you to know you’re not alone.
Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Keep showing up every day, even when your faith feels weak.
Sometimes faith isn’t having all the answers. Sometimes faith is simply believing that God is still working, even when Heaven feels silent.
And that’s what I’m choosing to believe today.
