AMC’s Bodakdev E-Auction Generates ₹365.8 Crore in Ahmedabad | Foreclosureindia

The real estate market in Ahmedabad received a major boost after the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation successfully completed an online land auction in the premium Bodakdev area. Two commercial plots sold for a combined value of ₹365.8 crore, showing continued demand for high-value commercial properties in Gujarat.

According to reports, AMC had announced e-auctions for 19 residential and commercial plots across locations including Bodakdev, Thaltej, Motera, and Shilaj. However, only the Bodakdev plots attracted strong bidding interest during the latest auction round.

One of the plots, measuring around 8,167 square metres under TP Scheme 50, was sold for nearly ₹205.9 crore. Another nearby commercial parcel measuring about 5,085 square metres fetched approximately ₹159.9 crore after competitive bidding. The second plot reportedly received bids much higher than its reserve price, highlighting investor confidence in Ahmedabad commercial real estate.

The auction was conducted through an e-auction process, which continues to improve transparency and participation in government land sales. Real estate experts believe that prime areas such as Bodakdev remain highly attractive for developers because of strong infrastructure, business growth, and rising commercial demand. Reports also noted that the final approval for the sale will be completed after clearance from the standing committee of AMC. The successful Bodakdev land auction reflects the continued strength of Ahmedabad’s property market. With increasing participation in e auctions and digital bidding platforms, commercial land auctions are expected to remain an important part of urban real estate expansion across Gujarat and other Indian cities.
