As I Chose Printify, a Print-on-Demand Platform

An e-commerce platform to print my arts and ship

I had written a piece about something I truly needed: a print-on-demand platform that will print my arts, turn it into physical goods, and ship it to customers.

ChatGPT Plus suggested a few options. One of them was Printify, so I decided to explore it.

Every platform has its first 15 minutes of confusion. Once you get past that, things begin to flow. With Printify, the beginning felt surprisingly easy. Soon I was starting to have fun.

Listing on Etsy had been hard for me, with its long list of criteria to be fulfilled. But through Printify, the process became quick. I could choose a product, place my art on it, put a text if I want, choose variants, set a price, and publish.

I chose what felt closest to my values and placed my art there.

Once I finished, I was asked to connect it to my shop. I already had an Etsy store, so I linked to it. Now, I have above 35+ listings.

So far, I’ve designed T-shirts, hoodies, baby clothing, coffee mugs, coasters, canvas prints, posters, postcards, tote bags, and notebooks.

At this phase, I am trying to understand customer behavior. I remember, people make buying decisions based on emotions.

Little Sophia heard about my Etsy/Printify venture and insisted that I include her art too. I respected her request. So, here are a few pieces designed by her. She is six years old. She does not know yet, that I have fulfilled her wishes.

I target to add as many as I can. Though there is 20 cents listing fee for each item.

Some of you have supported me by following, ordering, and by encouraging words. It matters more than you might think.

My art needs to be out in the world. And yes, I also need food on the table for my family. So, I am excited for this venture.

If this shop grows, I promise to reduce the price and support deserving writers and artists.

If you’d like to see more of what I’ve been designed through Printify, you can visit my little corner here: artsforhealinggifts.etsy.com.

Nothing is easy. And I just started learning the art of selling the arts.

Thank you for reading.
