Actionable Routine For Daily Energetic Hygiene
This is just one segment from my full 5000-word guide on energetic hygiene. Read the full guide here.

Energetic hygiene works best as a preventive measure rather than an emergency fire extinguisher.
Just as you don’t wait until you are covered in mud to take a shower, keeping your subtle energy field clean requires small, consistent daily touchpoints.
Here are some practical things you can do daily to purify yourself from the static you accumulate throughout the day, and set yourself up in the mornings to take on less:
- Take a moment in the morning: Give yourself a moment to wake up, stretch, think, maybe drink a coffee, and contemplate before getting your day started. Do this every day for about 10 minutes, and see how different it sets your mood.
- Somatic breathwork: Place one hand on your abdomen and take some conscious, deep diaphragmatic breaths. If you want, go a bit faster, breathe a little deeper, continue this for a few minutes until you feel a small release.
- Intention & consent: Mentally or aloud, declare absolute consent over your space. Remind yourself that you choose what enters your awareness, and seal your field against unaligned external static.
- Do one good deed: Help someone out at work, give your mom a call, put a smile on someone’s face. Notice how goodwill has a similar effect to cleansing.
- Space sweep: Light a piece of Palo Santo and open a window slightly to clear stagnant energy from your space. If you’re sensitive, you will probably notice a tangible change in energy, especially if static had accumulated.
- Physical workspace resets: Digital clutter creates visual friction that subtly taxes your mind. Keep your computer desktop clean, close unnecessary browser tabs, and wipe down your physical workspace at the end of every working day.
- Perform a feed audit: Go through your social media accounts and unfollow or mute profiles that trigger immediate outrage, comparison, or mental noise. Leave your feeds populated only by inputs that inform, educate, inspire, or motivate you.
- Organize your space: Spend some time cleaning your house, room, and space. Get everything into order in your physical space, and mentally as much as possible.
- Indulge in some self-care: That might mean taking a nice long shower and washing thoroughly. Maybe taking a nap, going for a swim or walk, getting a massage, or just sitting with yourself for a while.
- Nourish yourself spiritually: Nourishment can mean different things for different people, but for me it’s taking an hour or so for myself to meditate, stretch, sing, reflect, and do some light breathwork, often a mixture of all of these things. This period of sitting with myself can completely change my energy.
And that’s about it. If there’s one key takeaway from this article, it’s that consistent small actions are more effective than one big cleansing, and that in turn will keep you clean.
If you’re having trouble with any of this, need some guidance, or feel like you’ve taken on too much static that you’re not sure how to deal with it, I offer 1-on-1 coaching for exactly these reasons, so feel free to book a call, and we can talk it through.
