Producer Licensees: Energy Efficiency Incentives in Washington

Did you know many local utility companies in Washington offer incentives for producers to make energy efficiency upgrades, saving both electricity and money?
Incentives are based on retrofitting versus new construction, and the specific improvements implemented.
Incentives include high-efficiency grow lighting, dehumidifiers, and other efficiency work. Participating utilities include Puget Sound Energy (PSE), Seattle City Light, Tacoma Power, SnoPUD, Avista, and other utilities in the state.
Information related to cannabis energy efficiency is found in the 2021 WA Energy Code (commercial). The Code specifies certain minimum efficiencies for lighting and dehumidification.
