Love the one you’re with, and that’s YOU. 💛

Giving yourself the gift of self-love is like putting yourself in a washing machine and cleaning your energy field from thought forms and bodily stresses that have been holding you back.

Pema Chodron, an American Tibetan-Buddhist, said:

“When we start to develop unconditional acceptance of ourselves, then we are really taking care of ourselves in a way that pays off. We feel more at home with our own bodies and minds and more at home in the world. As kindness for ourselves grows, so does our kindness for other people.”

Self-love requires:

  • Having self-belief (believing that one is capable, good enough, and worthy, and able to meet one’s goals).
  • Realizing that it’s your birthright to feel safe and satisfied or content, and to have your physical, mental, and spiritual needs met.
  • Committing moment to moment to taking the next right step for YOUR growth and maintenance (i.e., meeting your physical, mental, and spiritual needs).
  • Having faith that your needs will be met.

When things seem grim, go inward to your centre and connect to everyone.

Feel your Soul, the eternal part of you that, along with everyone else, is a facet of One Unity. Ask your Soul and Spirit Guides for help with having confidence, courage, motivation, or anything else you want. Ask them for help with manifesting what you want too. Get to know how you receive messages from them: through signs or external strong messages of knowing, or through dreams!

Self-love encompasses self-management, or dealing with unwanted things. If you love yourself, you will be able to accept things more. 😄

When you say “I’m okay with that,” you’re:

  • Defusing the situation.
  • Taking the sting out of something.
  • Acknowledging that you’re capable of handling something.
  • Keeping in mind contingency plans.

“I’m okay with that,” or “That’s okay,” doesn’t mean that something is “acceptable” (different to being accepted), BUT means that you choose to be calm, rational, and spiritual enough to manage an issue appropriately. It’s self-love to remain positive!

Love yourself because:

  1. There’s only one of you. You are special because you are unique.
  2. Nobody knows you as you do.
  3. Everyone deserves happiness, peace, opportunities, good health & relationships, and abundance.
  4. There’s enough of everything to go around if we look after our Planet.
  5. To love others, you have to love yourself the most first.

Life is a perpetual dance of experiences, a never-ending journey of discovery, and a symphony of realizations. I have found six things to help me navigate life: appreciation, accountability, acceptance, self-love, self-care, and self-soothing!

Resilience is about changing yourself to meet your needs and to live well with your internal and external environment.

Self-love is the fuel to be healthily resilient. Being stressed or feeling angry, worried, frustrated, or depressed is not being resilient. It’s an ingredient of how you immediately react to your thoughts about something. However, self-love is about how you deal effectively with these heavy thoughts and feelings! If you’re stuck in a heavy feeling, it is unresourceful. It creates tension in your muscles and builds up stress. It’s not resilience, it’s resistance.

Self-love is magic when you take a deep breath, distance yourself from your worries, smile, and pat yourself on the back. You know that you’ve done a good job managing things, and you have faith that things will turn out well.

Self-love can take time. It embraces self-care and self-soothing. You embrace that you’re loved, loving, and worthwhile. So, you look after yourself in all ways and always. 💮

You grow faith in your journey when you trust that there’s a greater whole that’s helping you. And, this happens when you’re being kind or civil toward everyone, including yourself, and you focus your energy on possibilities, potential, and positive realities.

Self-love gives you the fuel to maintain stamina and to weave your way through the game of 3-D as you put together the threads of the higher dimensions.

If you love someone, you set them free. Set yourself free!

Self-love is the currency of today. Pay it to yourself, and then you can pay it forward. 💙 💛 ❤️ Create some magic to propel you through life, shining your expression on the world, with faith in good things.
