Whenever cousins Don and Juan got together, they invented wild scenarios and went exploring near the bayou by their grandparents’ property. Summers were always fun, as they spent countless hours with imaginary friends and new adventures.
Today’s story took them down to the swamp — they wanted to bring home a new pet for the weekend. They went to the spot where the various animals usually played. Just yesterday, two baby muskrats grazed there. Today, it was eerily quiet — only alligators were visible.
They decided to go home and try again tomorrow, as they both laughed: “Alligators DON’T make good pets!”
Lessons from Nature:
- *Nature offers us opportunities to exercise our imagination and creativity
- Inquiring about which creatures in nature are safe is a really good idea.*
