2. Screen a user transaction Registration and login events carry risk too. The FraudLabs Pro MCP server lets you screen account creation and login attempts for red flags like disposable emails, high-risk IPs, and suspicious phone numbers — before a user ever reaches checkout.
3. Retrieve and update transaction status Pull up the fraud report for any past transaction using its ID, then approve, reject, or reject and blacklist it — right from the conversation. No dashboard login required.

Once you’ve installed the dependencies (pip install mcp httpx uv), downloaded the FraudLabs Pro MCP Server from GitHub, and added a short configuration block to your Claude Desktop config file, you're done. Restart Claude Desktop and the FraudLabs Pro tools appear automatically in the Search & Tools menu.

A Glimpse at How It Works in Practice
Once connected, using it is as simple as typing a prompt:
“Help me validate this order: { ip: ‘198.221.136.159’, email: ‘john123@gmail.com’, bin_no: ‘558265’, amount: ‘399.00’ … }”
Claude calls the FraudLabs Pro API, processes the result, and surfaces the fraud score, rule matches, and risk signals — all formatted in plain language inside the chat.
For updating transaction status, it’s even simpler:
“I want to BLACKLIST transaction TXN-20240601–001.”
