Cache DNA Selected for 2026 BioTools Innovator Accelerator Program

Out of nearly 550 applying companies, 30 were chosen for the 2026 BioTools Innovator Program

San Carlos, CA — Cache DNA, Inc., a life sciences startup developing next-generation biopreservation reagents, today announced its selection for the 2026 BioTools Innovator Accelerator, the first and only program focused exclusively on life science tools and diagnostics companies. Chosen from nearly 550 applicants, Cache is among just 30 startups to earn a spot in this year’s prestigious cohort.

BioTools Innovator provides a four-month accelerator program offering tailored mentorship from senior industry leaders, investor exposure, and networking opportunities with peers and experts across the global life science community.

Cache believes that high-quality biosamples drive discovery, development, diagnostics, and personalized medicine, but freezer-based dependence creates cost, complexity, quality, and operational risk. Cache offers a simpler ambient alternative designed for scale. The Cache “BioLock DNA” reagent is the first product coming out of the Cradle Chemistry Technology Platform. It is a novel drop-in reagent for the preservation of extracted DNA under ambient storage and shipping conditions. Cache has just announced an Early Access program for BioLock DNA, to evaluate and assess workflow fit, operational impact, and broader adoption potential within academic and industrial ecosystems. Cache welcomes collaborators who want to modernize biomolecule storage and create more reliable, flexible access to samples across research and clinical settings.

As part of the BioTools Innovator 2026 program, Cache will participate in a series of events, including the Innovator Summit (June 2–4 in San Francisco, CA), pitch opportunities, and a final Capstone Event where companies will compete for a share of $300,000 in funding.
