The 2025 Oracle Race to Certification is officially off with. I have amassed 5 Oracle Cloud certifications. This is my best showing.

Oracle Cloud AI Foundations Associate

I have started the 2025 Race to Certification renewing this certification. I have it renewed through 2027 (All OCI certifications are good for two years). Completing the full training and this certification help me complete Level 1. I received a winner exam attempt.

Oracle Cloud Foundations Associate

I have completed this certification the next day. Completing this full training and certification help me complete Level 2. I received a second winner exam attempt.

Oracle Cloud Generative AI Professional

Initially I scheduled to complete this certification July 27, 2025, but, Chrome kicked me out on the first question.

I rescheduled my exam for September 29, 2025 and passed it. This is the first of two full trainings and certifications needed to complete Level 3.

Oracle Cloud Multicloud Architect Professional

I used my second exam wallet voucher for this exam. I sat and passed this exam on October 13, 2025. This is the second full training and certifications needed to complete Level 3. I received an exam voucher good through October 31, 2026.

Oracle Cloud Database@AWS Architect Professional

I used my first winner attempt from the AI Foundations Associate exam to sit and pass this exam. I was proud to be able to turn this one around so fast. Oracle released this one on October 3, 2025. I completed the full training and certification on October 22, 2025. This was around 3 weeks.

At the end of the 2025 Oracle Race to Certification I completed 5 certifications. I didn’t fail any certifications. I also completed all 3 levels which was a first for me. You can read all about how I got to Level 3 here.

Get Another Multicloud Certification

Oracle released the Oracle Cloud Database@AWS Architect professional training and certification October 3, 2025. This was perfect for me since I was studying to pass my OCI multicloud architect professional exam. The multicloud architect professional had Database@Azure and Database@Google Cloud. Oracle has Azure Interconnect and GCP Interconnect. The fact that I managed to turn it around and pass it within 3 weeks was a testament to opportunity and my AWS knowledge.

I Achieved Level 3

In 2023 Oracle Race to Certification, I achieved sectors 1 and 2. This time, I completed levels 1–3. It was pretty cool that I managed to complete 4 full trainings and certifications. The certifications were easy. It took a lot of commitment to finish trainings that were 6 to 10 hours long.

I Passed All of My Exams

I passed all of my certifications and didn’t squander any exam attempts. There were plenty of participants who failed. In addition, I challenged myself to complete more professional-level certifications.

In the 2023 one, Oracle Cloud debuted the (then) multicloud architect associate. At the time, it was only Datbase@Azure. Now Database@Google Cloud and made it a professional certification. It was more challenging.

I also passed another brand-new exam with Databse@AWS architect professional.

What Would I Do Differently

Use Microsoft Edge As My Browser

I used Chrome one time for the generative AI professional exam on July 27, 2025 and immediately got kicked out. I was afraid to reschedule my exam for 2 months before I didn’t want to lose my free exam attempt over another glitch (oracle returned my voucher).

That 2-month delay adversely affected me because today I was supposed to pass my Migration Architect professional exam; but, I was under the weather from Tuesday through Thursday. I was slightly disappointed because I truly felt like with those 3 days back, I would had completed the training and passed.

Take All Foundations Associate Certifications

This time I passed the Foundations Associate and AI Foundations Associate. Next time I will pass these two certifications plus the Data Platforms Foundations.

Why?!

Because these 3 free certs would have me pass levels 1,2 and ½ of 3. That data platforms foundations associate would had freed up 1 of my exam attempts. I used both of my 2 allotted exam wallet attempts on level 3. In the future, I will has 1 exam wallet attempt for the second certification. That would leave me with 1 exam wallet attempt and two winner attempts.

All in all, I had a pretty good time with 2025 Oracle Race to Certification, Cannot wait until the next one.
