I’m excited to share that my healthcare UX concept — MedReview — was recently featured in Appian Community’s YouTube UX Design Lab, focused on Community and Collaboration in Appian.

It’s always a great feeling to see your work being reviewed, discussed, and appreciated by the community — especially in a space as impactful as healthcare.

💡 The Idea Behind medReview

MedReview was designed as a unified collaboration platform for healthcare professionals.

The goal was simple: 👉 Make clinical validation and knowledge sharing more collaborative, structured, and accessible.

Instead of siloed reviews and fragmented discussions, MedReview brings everything into one place — enabling professionals to:

• Collaborate on validating clinical decisions
• Review research papers and medical protocols
• Engage in peer-driven discussions

During the UX review, a few aspects of the interface stood out:

The dashboard provides a quick snapshot of critical metrics — like total protocols, pending reviews, and items needing attention — helping users prioritize instantly.

🧭 Organized Navigation

A clean drill-down approach allows users to move from a list of protocols into detailed views seamlessly, making complex workflows feel intuitive.

🤝 Engagement-Driven Features

To encourage collaboration, the interface includes:

• Tags for better categorization
• Upvote and sharing mechanisms
• Dedicated peer-review discussion threads

These elements turn passive users into active contributors.

Designing for community and collaboration goes beyond adding features — it’s about enabling meaningful interaction. Here are my biggest takeaways from building MedReview:
