What Is Your American Creed?

American Creed or the American identity can be related to factors of freedom, liberty, justice, and overall humanity. One who believes or lives by the American identity of freedom may feel pride for their country and what they are able to work for without unjust or restricting rules and laws placed upon them. One who believes in the American identity of liberty may feel free to do as they wish. One who believes in the American identity of justice may feel grateful that the guilty are punished accordingly and the innocent are set free by the truth. They may feel joy knowing that they live in a country of just and upright people who believe in equality and justice under the law that no one stands above. And lastly, one who believes in the values of humanity may feel all of these things and a sense of bellowing and a willingness to create a better community for the people tomorrow and the future generations. One who believes in the American creed and uplifts its values understands what it feels like to be an American. To be a part of a larger and vast system that functions to work together and better the lives of individuals who also believe in the same strong standing American creed.

To me, the American creed is exactly as stated previously. It is the values of freedom, justice, liberty, and humanity. It is the ability to have a dream and succeed at making it your reality. It is about finding others who share similar characteristics, personality traits, cultures, languages, backgrounds, ideals and beliefs. It’s about not being ashamed of who you are and expressing your true self. American creed is about looking at the impossible and completing it, taking the defeated and the broken and making a change. It is about overcoming great boundaries and making great success. It is about being your best self and always giving 100%. Those who fought for this country fought with everything they had so we can today achieve anything we want. American creed is about being limitless, unstoppable and most importantly free.

In the videos, it is highly emphasized that the individuals give whatever it is they are seeking 100% of what they can offer. Every individual is always giving everything they have. As a nation, it is our job to lift these individuals up high towards their passions and dreams. These people inspire others to chase their goals and they inspire positive change through communities. But how do we inspire uninspired people? As a nation, we have to start by igniting positive courage in the minds of children. We can do this by example, or simply by encouragement. As a nation, if we inspire the younger generations with our work, we can cultivate the ideals of American creed with them and create individuals who want to further better the nation. We can also encourage those who believe America is broken to speak up and make change themselves. As a nation, we can work to better the world. We can work as one nation under God to inspire more than just our own people. We must be welcoming to others, fair and just, and uphold our sacred values and beliefs written in the United States Constitution. By making a statement, locally then globally, that we the people stand as a nation of achievers, believers, and hard workers who believe in justice, freedom, and humanity. I believe we can become, again, the greatest nation to ever thrive. I believe we can inspire others to work together. America is a mix of so many beautiful and unique cultures, religions, people, and beliefs. If we work to respect and honor each other, and create a community where individuals are constantly pushed to achieve the best and become their best, we can truly make a global change. Far beyond economics, if we band together and fight for what we believe in, respect each other’s differences and lift eachother up, we can become something unimaginably amazing.
