Hey, Prata Riverside Village neighbors! 🚨 We’ve got some seriously exciting news that’s going to have you grabbing your helmets and hopping on your bikes! 🚲 Lisbon has just opened the latest section of its stunning riverside cycle path, connecting Tejo-Trancão Park to Terreiro do Paço. That’s a 12-kilometer ride of pure scenic bliss along the beautiful Tagus River! 🌊✨

This brand-new section from Parque das Nações to Braço de Prata might only be a little over a kilometer long, but it’s the missing link that completes the entire route. Now you can easily cycle from Parque Ribeirinho Oriental in Marvila to Alameda dos Oceanos in Parque das Nações! 🚴‍♀️🌳 Picture it: a peaceful ride, riverside breeze in your hair, and maybe even a quick coffee stop along the way. ☕💨 What more could you ask for?

🚲 But wait, there’s more! Marvila has just gotten its very own Gira shared bicycle stations! 🎉 So even if you don’t have your own bike, you can rent one and hit the trail like a pro! 🚴‍♂️ This is all part of the Mayor’s plan to have every Lisbon neighborhood decked out with Gira bike stations by the end of the year. According to Carlos Silva, president of EMEL, Marvila’s inclusion means only Ajuda and Santa Clara are left to reach the goal! 👏👏 So now, whether you’re living, studying, or working in the city, you can always find a bike station within 10 minutes of walking.

By early next year, the entire riverfront from Algés to Parque Tejo will be fully connected with bike paths. 🚴‍♀️🌞 Imagine cycling the whole stretch without a single car in sight, just the sparkling Tagus River on your side and blue skies above. Whether you’re commuting, exploring, or just out for some weekend fun, this cycle route is the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of Lisbon. 🌟
