I am taking a break from seriousness to share some laughs. I’m also here to give credit where credit is due.

Now, I do have a reputation for being critical of Trump. Well, actually, I have a reputation for mercilessly body-slamming Trump in the verbal equivalent of UFC. However, I’m fair. I give praise when it is earned. I have to praise Trump for being the greatest in all of history (admittedly, it has been a short history) at inspiring the most hilarious memes.

I had previously written about Trump winning the “Meme-Spawner” trophy, the trophy I invented for him for all the memes he spawned over… well, his love of trophies.

Now it is time to award him another trophy. This time I’m calling it the Running With Scissors trophy. Get it? He won’t. But it’s a trophy, so he’ll love it!

As the featured image for this piece, I present what I judge to be the best Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool meme. It has everything. It has a movie reference, it expresses an overlay of nefariousness and corruption, and it is a politician slinging bullsh*t for financial gain! This is a work-of-art meme!

I will catalogue below more reflecting pool memes. There have been so many that one could publish an entire book of them. Hey! There is an idea! Some publisher should put together a big coffee table book of memes inspired by Trump. Issue it for the holiday shopping season 2028. The book could be entitled: “Nananana, Nananana, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye!”

Movies being near and dear to my heart, let’s do more movie-related memes. We have this very classy one.

Next, we have the most obvious suspect to be the vandal. After all, there are certain logistical complications in trying to cut up hundreds of feet of pool liner. Problem solved!

Hard to express why (humor being a hard-to-explain thing sometimes), but this next one made me laugh out loud and left me smiling for hours afterwards.

This next one could be a meme or it could be for real. Who can say? I tend to think it is not for real, though, because 1) the lowest price is too low, and 2) they are not selling them mounted in a fake gold frame.

For all you aspiring meme artists out there, remember that you don’t have to be Michelangelo. You just gotta have a sliver of snarky cleverness and voila! This might well deserve to be the back cover art for the upcoming coffee table book of Trump memes.

That is all I’ve got for now. However, I’m sure I will have more opportunities to hand out more trophies to Trump in the future. Who knows what the next stupid, incompetent, egomaniacal thing is that he may do that will inspire still more memes!
