About Me

I’m Fawn — a Taiwanese woman who built a life in America, married across cultures, and raised a daughter who is now in college. My story began in Taiwan, continued in Houston, and eventually settled in Texas, where my family grew and my world expanded in ways I never expected.

I come from a place where traditions are deep and family is everything. My husband comes from a place where independence is celebrated and life moves differently. Together, we created a home that blends both worlds — Taiwanese warmth and American openness, old traditions and new habits, two languages, two cultures, one family.

This blog is where I share the small and big moments of our life: motherhood, marriage, cultural differences, everyday joys, and the journey of raising a daughter between two worlds. These are not perfect stories — just honest ones, written from the heart.

我是 芳，一位在美國生活的台灣女人，一個跨越文化的婚姻，養育了一位現在正在念大學的女兒。我的故事從台灣開始，延伸到休士頓，最後在德州落地生根，在這裡建立了屬於我們的家庭，也展開了人生新的篇章。

我來自一個重視傳統、重視家庭的文化；而我的先生來自一個強調獨立、生活步調截然不同的國度。我們一起打造了一個融合兩種文化的家 — — 台灣的溫暖、美國的自在 。舊的傳統習慣與新生活、兩種語言、兩種文化，和一個完整的家庭。

在這個部落格裡，我會分享我們生活中的大小故事：身為母親的心情、跨文化婚姻的點滴、在美國生活的體會、以及在兩種文化中養育女兒的心路旅程。這些故事或許不完美，但真實、溫暖，也充滿愛。
