I Made Almost $1,500 in Dividends

My Monthly Dividend Report for June

Summer is no longer as fun as it used to be. Two extremes keep alternating. Either it is far too hot to go outside, or there are storms and bad weather. It is rarely in between.

I remember when we used to say, it’s 40°C outside (that’s around 104°F).

It simply meant it was very hot, but it was never literally 40°C. It was just a common exaggeration to express high temperatures. The actual temperature was usually around 32°C (= 89.6 °F) at max or so, when we said this.

But now it is literally 40°C outside. Who would want to go out in weather like this?

Anyways, let’s move on to something a bit more positive. My June dividend income is usually quite strong, and this month I nearly surpassed $1,500.

Many of the payouts are concentrated in March, June, September, and December, therefore I received dividends from several individual companies and ETFs.

I even did some small reinvestments, since I don’t need all of the money because my cash buffer can still cover most of my expenses.

Here is the list of all the dividends I received in June.

That’s a total of $1,470 (it was $1,236 three months ago) for the month.

I still think I have too many holdings, so I am thinking about simplifying my portfolio a bit. I may sell some of my individual stocks and put the money into ETFs I already have.

At least these reports would be shorter to write :).
