Seafile iOS 4.0.0 Adds Live Photo Support

Seafile iOS 4.0.0 now supports Live Photos.

You can upload and automatically back up Live Photos from your iPhone, preview their motion directly in Seafile (press and hold to play), and download them back with the full Live Photo effect preserved in the Photos app.

You can now upload Live Photos directly from your iPhone to Seafile. If automatic photo backup is enabled, Live Photos in your camera roll can also be backed up automatically.

Seafile preserves the complete Live Photo data instead of converting it into a static image.

Preview Motion Directly in Seafile

After a Live Photo is uploaded, you can open it directly in the Seafile iOS app.

Simply press and hold the photo to play the motion effect and view the Live Photo animation.

Download Live Photos Without Losing Motion

When downloading a Live Photo from Seafile back to your iPhone, the full Live Photo effect is preserved.

The downloaded file remains a native iOS Live Photo, which can be saved to your Photos library and viewed or shared just like the original.
