I Learned…

I’ve learned to just say “okay” and move on instead of arguing, because sometimes keeping quiet is better than being misunderstood. Not every situation needs a reaction from you. Not everyone is going to understand your point of view, no matter how hard you try to explain it.

I used to burn so much energy trying to justify my feelings and forcing people to see my perspective. But some people truly only listen to what they want to hear.

These days, I focus more on protecting my own peace. I’ve learned that staying silent doesn’t mean you’re weak. Sometimes, it just means you finally realize that your peace of mind is worth way more than winning an argument. Not everyone deserves an explanation, and not every battle is worth your time anymore.
