I was curious — how did such a small weed become so popular? Let me share what I learnt.

This plant has deep connection with Irish culture. It has long been associated with the Druids (learned class in the ancient Celtic culture) and good fortune. Over time, it became a national symbol of Ireland, representing Irish resilience.
Saint Patrick used the shamrock to explain the concept of the Holy Trinity — the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — while teaching Christianity to the Irish people.
