Streamlining Workflow: Designing a More Intuitive Navigation Experience

I recently led the design effort for a redesigned navigation architecture for the Workflow desktop app, focusing on creating a more intuitive and efficient user experience. This project was a collaborative effort with the Workflow team at Aramco, and together we aimed to streamline access to key sections, placing them just one click away. I’m confident this will significantly reduce task completion time.

I focused on ensuring the improved usability will encourage greater user adoption and decrease the need for extensive training. A key goal was simplifying navigation to anticipate a reduction in IT support requests. Accessibility was also a top priority, ensuring a consistent experience across all devices, both desktop and mobile. The new structure is also designed to be scalable, allowing for future feature additions and enhancements.

My next steps include collaborating closely with the development team to ensure seamless implementation of the new navigation. Once live, I’ll be monitoring user adoption metrics and gathering feedback to identify any areas for further refinement. I’m excited to see the impact of this redesign on user workflows.
