Unraveling the Source of Our Thoughts
Our personal stories and relationship to them can easily captivate our attention.
Yet there seems to be a grand tapestry through which we are all intricately connected.
One of my teachers describes our body composition, our blood, our teeth as a similar makeup to crystalline structures.
So if we are all fundamentally composed of crystalline, this must mean that we have a deep connection with the world around us.
What if our thoughts, emotions, and experiences are not just our own?

Crystalline Makeup in the Human Body
Our bodies are architectural marvels, operating with complexity and precision beyond our common understanding. Deep within us, our biological blueprint — DNA — exhibits a crystalline double helix structure. Our blood, rich in hemoglobin, transports oxygen due to its crystalline configuration.
Our bones and teeth derive their hardness and rigidity from hydroxyapatite, a type of calcium phosphate crystal.
Even our cell membranes harbor lipid crystals that maintain cellular integrity and function, while collagen, the protein found in our skin, bones, and connective tissues, boasts a quasi-crystalline structure. The crystalline proteins in our photo-receptor cells empower us to perceive light and color!
Beyond these specifics, our bodies as a whole exhibit “liquid crystallinity,” a phase possessing properties of both liquids and solids. This unique characteristic enables efficient communication and energy transfer throughout our bodies, further underlining our crystalline nature.

Our Potential Connection to Our Makeup
Conceptualizing humans as “crystalline beings” moves beyond science into a realm of deeper, metaphorical understanding. Could our bodies be like a receptive antennae, potentially attuned to the energies in our environment, much like crystals, which are known to absorb, store, and transmit energy?

Our Interconnected World
Given this framework of understanding, we can explore the nature of thought. The idea that certain thoughts we have might not be completely our own becomes more tangible when we ponder our capacity as crystalline beings to both receive and transmit energy.
As we interact with a vast network of energies, both seen and unseen, this perspective invites us to consider our thoughts as part of a broader interconnected network of consciousness, with some potentially originating from external sources.
By viewing thoughts as an “experiencer” of them, we may begin to see they are not exclusively ours, but rather a pirate of a vast, interconnected cosmos that holds potential for transformation.
The Mystery of Shared Thoughts
Remember, the journey of self-discovery is not one you have to traverse alone. Just as the sun shines its warm light on our world, illuminating both beauty and mystery, seeking the guidance of another can provide the light you need to navigate the intricate terrain of shared thoughts.
