For some of us who grew up in middle-class families, childhood was full of restrictions. Parents often believed only in education — never in sports, music, or creativity. And even the field of study wasn’t chosen by us, but by what was considered “safe” and “normal.”

As we grew older, we saw others — especially rich kids — exploring everything, building confidence, showing freedom. And it hurt, not because of poverty, but because deep down, we knew we had the hunger and ability to do more, but never got the chance.

Still, many of us never stopped learning. We studied hard, even in fields we didn’t love. Distinctions, good marks, degrees — education became our only tool. The first job didn’t pay much, but step by step, year by year, things began to change. Stability came, the ability to support family came, and slowly, childhood dreams started taking shape.

That’s when we realize — nothing is truly late, nothing is truly fast. Some get opportunities early, some don’t. Some waste them, some make the best out of little. What matters is consistency, persistence, and the belief that growth is still possible even without perfect conditions.

And maybe the biggest lesson is this: success is not just about achievements. It’s also about kindness, appreciation, and continuous learning. Because in the end, those are the things that truly define us. 🌿
