Why I Built LaunchDock

Every day, developers ship amazing products, but most never get the attention they deserve.

Not because they’re bad, but because getting discovered is often harder than building.

After launching my own projects, I realized the biggest challenge wasn’t writing code — it was finding users. Most launch platforms focus on a single launch day, and if you miss that window, your product quickly fades away.

That’s why I built **LaunchDock**.

LaunchDock is a platform where makers can launch products, discover new tools, and connect with other builders. But it’s not just for finished products. You can also document your journey by sharing daily progress updates on projects that are still in development. Whether you’re building your MVP, shipping new features, or preparing for launch, LaunchDock helps you build in public and grow an audience along the way.

Built with React, Node.js, MongoDB, and Cloudflare R2, the platform is designed to be fast, simple, and enjoyable for both builders and users.

This is just the beginning. My vision is to make LaunchDock the go-to place for indie hackers, developers, designers, and creators to showcase their work, share their progress, gain visibility, and connect with a community that loves discovering new products.
