A Day When Everything Went Wrong

Today was supposed to be special because it was my mother’s birthday, and I had to prepare everything. I set my alarm early, but I overslept and woke up late. In a rush, I quickly had breakfast and headed to the market. At the shop, I realized I had left my wallet at home. I called my brother for help, but he was stuck at work and could not bring it. Frustrated, I started walking back home when I accidentally bumped into someone, and my mobile phone slipped from my hand and cracked. Returning home late, I grabbed my wallet and hurried back to buy the items needed for the cake and decorations. Everything seemed to go wrong today. While decorating at home, suddenly the electricity went out. The entire house was in darkness, and I had to use my phone’s flashlight to continue arranging the decorations. Even the cake almost fell off the table, but I managed to save it just in time. Despite all these obstacles, I completed the preparations before my mother arrived. She was delighted with the surprise. The day had started as a disaster, but in the end, it turned into a memorable and successful celebration.
