I wrote this myself! I don’t use AI.

Have you ever lost your cool and popped off, Telling friends how you resented their last post Because of certain stuff that rubbed you wrong - And then, going back to justify your rant later, Could not find that glaring example anywhere?
I have.
Whose post was I reacting to, if not theirs?
Makes me wonder if my paid keepers Are keeping strict enough watch over me. Makes me wish I had kept my mouth shut. What is wrong with me, anyway? What internal lack is trying to be heard?
Something within is begging for love. Wanting attention paid to it. What is it? My mature self knows I get attention, As much as I deserve among my peers Who also need it. But part of me wants more.
It’s the little boy playing in the pool Shouting, “Mommy! Look at me!” Resenting every glance she gives my sister Or my Daddy. Don’t they know that I come first? Where would they all be without Me?
I know I must have compassion for my Inner Child.
But sometimes I wish it would just shut up.
