Anxiety vs. Craziness 🌗: The Two Faces I Live With

No, I don’t have a dual personality. But I do experience two extreme moods depending on the kind of people I’m surrounded by.

There are days when I feel crazy passionate — motivated, excited, full of ideas. And then, there are days when social anxiety creeps in — when fear, doubt, and the judgment of others seem louder than my own voice.

Living between Craziness and Anxiety

🌱 When Passion Meets Support

Have you ever felt completely alive when someone simply believes in you?

During my MCA, I found myself drawn to IoT (Internet of Things) — even though it wasn’t a popular subject among my classmates and I had no faculty support. Still, my seniors and a few close friends stood by me.

They didn’t just help me technically — they lifted me emotionally, too. And that kind of support meant the world.

At that time, I was working alone in my room, surrounded by wires, motors, and Arduino code — chasing something that felt uncertain but exciting.

😔 When Doubt Comes from Others

But not everyone was supportive.

Some classmates ridiculed my efforts, saying things like,

“No one in this field succeeds from here.” “You barely know anything about IoT.”

Their words made me dread going to class. For almost 3–4 months, I was haunted by that anxiety — questioning myself constantly.

But something changed everything.

🔁 The Turning Point

My seniors arranged a live tech session with alumni, where I presented a small project of mine — a remote-controlled car over the internet.

Even though my NodeMCU burned out at the last minute, I rebuilt the prototype using a joystick.

That day… I became the center of attention — recognized by three entire batches, appreciated by teachers, and yes — even congratulated by the same people who once discouraged me.

From there, I built my own **Smart Home Automation system. The craziness inside me grew** stronger than ever.

Even today, though I’m not working in IoT anymore, that crazy energy hasn’t left me.

🌟 The Lesson

Anxiety and craziness both come from within — the difference lies in who we choose to surround ourselves with.

Yes, I still feel anxious sometimes.

But now, my passion and purpose speak louder than my fear.

Surround yourself with people who see your light — not those who dim it. There will always be a spark, even in the darkest place — if you have the patience to find it.
