Our little home, filled with figurines, holds our tender, everyday moments.

On a weekend afternoon, sunlight streamed through the blinds onto the carpet. Lin Wan leaned on Chen Yu’s shoulder, playing with his fingers. The lemon tea on the coffee table emitted a faint fruity aroma. Suddenly, Chen Yu’s eyes lit up, and he handed her his phone: “Wanwan, look at this.” The words “One photo, custom-made Q-version figurines” stood out prominently on the screen. The example couple figurines had lifelike features and were incredibly realistic.
Lin Wan sat up straight instantly, her voice beaming, “Wow, this is so cute! It only takes one photo to create a chibi version of us, it’s so convenient! This figurine really understands us!” Chen Yu ruffled her hair, his eyes full of affection, “I’m glad you like it. We should have our own figurines too, so our little home is full of our memories.”
Lin Wan tugged at his hand, pouting, “I have so many photos I want to order! The beach photo of you carrying me on your back, the photo of you wearing a clown hat and singing me a birthday song, the photo of you covered in flour while we made breakfast together — I want them all!” Chen Yu smiled and agreed, “Okay, whatever you say, let’s fill the house up.”

The two snuggled on the carpet, pulled out a dozen or so memorable photos, and submitted the order to SnapFig. Lin Wan chattered away, planning where to place them, while Chen Yu added that they wanted to order two smaller ones to put at their workstations, so they could remember each other. During the waiting period, they checked the order progress every day. Chen Yu teased her about what would happen if the custom-made one didn’t look like the original, and Lin Wan replied earnestly, “As long as it’s something we made together, it’ll look good no matter what.”
Look! We commissioned a custom-made SnapFig figurine. A week later, the package arrived. Lin Wan rushed to open the door, unpacked it, and saw a figurine that looked remarkably like ours in the photos. Lin Wan carefully held it, her eyes shining. Chen Yu hugged her from behind and whispered, “I told you, we’d have our own custom-made figurine.”
Together, they filled their small home with the figurines — bookshelves, bedside tables, the entryway, the desk — everywhere they looked, there were their images. Later, they commissioned more figurines for anniversaries, movies, and other occasions, making their home even more cozy. Friends who visited always marveled at the sense of occasion. Lin Wan and Chen Yu smiled at each other; they knew these figurines were more than just decorations; they were daily companions, deep affection hidden in the small details of everyday life, filling their remaining years with tenderness.
