Creative Living or Drifting…?

Recently I got my DJI Neo toy drone, I love this drone so small, simply to use, and stupidly good at many things. It’s got potential.

Occasionally this DJI Neo Drone when in dark room with shiny floor, this drone is sort of drifting and not staying stable on the spot as it supposed to be.

Then I encounter a vague tweet from a random person also says: “Drifting…”. “Okey”, I thought, “she must be drifting or lost…?”

I know the meaning of this word “drifting”: sort of like state of confusion or without any directions. Like leaf drifting on the river.

“A Drifting Life” is also a novel and manga I read at some point, but I probably need to re-read that manga.

Then I also encounter this word “fugue”; One meaning of fugue is “a period during which a person experiences loss of memory” — it sounds Japanese. Perhaps recent crazy events causing fugue-nese and drifting.

Would be nice to be like plankton I guess, you can drift and sort of living and eaten by krills or fishes.

But most other creatures should keep doing things and not paralyzed — in order to be in the state of actually LIVING.

How about as creative persons, you need to keep making things — in order to survive.

I do recently find joy in just documenting things and nature. Finding basic things: bird making random sounds, random flowers, random insects at the bush.

Probably the next easy things to do is to draw what I found somewhat in order not to fully withdrawn.

Most artists anyhow, at some point perhaps find a sudden realization: What the heck is this I am pursuing? Recognition? Am I really talented (or not)? Is this art really valueable? — perhaps this is when it gets more interesting.
