Could Nebius Stock Really Hit $2,000?
Nebius is becoming one of the most watched AI infrastructure stocks in the market, and investors are starting to ask a much bigger question.

Nebius has quickly become one of the most exciting AI infrastructure companies in the market. Investors aren’t just looking at Nebius as another AI cloud provider. They’re beginning to wonder whether it could become something much larger.
The boldest version of that argument is the $ 2,000-per-share debate.
At first, that sounds unrealistic. But Nebius keeps giving investors reasons to pay attention. In the first quarter of 2026, the company reported $399 million in revenue, up 684% year over year. Its AI Cloud business generated nearly $390 million of that total, making it the clear growth engine.
Nebius also secured a major AI infrastructure agreement with Meta worth up to approximately $27 billion over five years, while NVIDIA invested $2 billion into the business.
Nebius is no longer just a speculative AI story. It’s trying to become a serious AI infrastructure platform.

The $2,000 Nebius Stock Question
The question isn’t whether Nebius is growing fast. It’s what the company would need to become for a $2,000 share price to make sense.
Using the company’s reported year-end 2025 share count, a $2,000 stock price would imply a market capitalization of roughly $506 billion. Since Nebius operates in a capital-intensive industry, future dilution could push that implied valuation even higher.
That means investors wouldn’t be betting on a successful GPU cloud provider. They’d be betting that Nebius would become one of the largest AI infrastructure businesses in the world.
A valuation that large would likely require tens of billions of dollars in annual revenue. If the share count rises meaningfully over time, the revenue hurdle becomes even higher.
So the $2,000 discussion is really about one thing: can Nebius evolve into a cloud-scale AI infrastructure platform, not just a fast-growing AI company?
Why the Bull Case Isn’t Completely Crazy
The bullish case starts with growth, but it doesn’t end there.
Nebius generated $399 million in first-quarter revenue, while AI Cloud revenue grew 841% year over year. Management also expects approximately $3 billion to $3.4 billion in revenue in 2026 and an annualized run-rate revenue of roughly $7 billion to $9 billion.
That growth is impressive. But the bigger story is validation.
Meta’s infrastructure agreement sends a major customer signal to Nebius. NVIDIA’s $2 billion investment adds another layer of credibility.
The market is starting to value Nebius based on what it could become, not what it is today.
What if Nebius isn’t trying to compete directly with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud? What if it becomes an infrastructure layer that works alongside them?
As AI adoption accelerates, enterprises, governments, model developers, and hyperscalers all need more compute. Sovereign AI initiatives are also creating demand for regional infrastructure that a few dominant technology giants don’t entirely control.
That may create an opening for Nebius.
AI Infrastructure May Be the Real Prize
Nebius has expanded its contracted power guidance from roughly 1 gigawatt to more than 4 gigawatts while targeting up to 1 gigawatt of connected power by the end of 2026.
This distinction matters.
Contracted power represents future potential. Connected power is infrastructure that’s closer to deployment. Active power is what actually generates revenue because it supports customers' operational AI systems.
To me, that’s the real story. The future may not be decided only by who builds the best AI model. It may also be decided by who controls enough infrastructure to power those models.
If Nebius can convert contracted power into active, revenue-generating infrastructure while securing customers before capacity comes online, it could become far more than a GPU cloud provider.
That’s the only path that makes the $2,000 Nebius stock discussion even remotely realistic.
Nebius Valuation Already Assumes a Lot
Nebius currently has a market capitalization of roughly $66 billion. It trades at an eye-catching 120 times sales, which tells me investors are already pricing in extraordinary future growth.
The stock also trades at about 9 times book value, while book value per share sits around $29. That premium suggests the market is assigning far more value to Nebius’s future earning power, data center footprint, customer relationships, and AI infrastructure opportunity than to assets currently reflected on the balance sheet.
That doesn’t make Nebius cheap.
Investors aren’t paying for what Nebius is today. They’re paying for what it might become over the next decade.
How I’d Think About NBIS From Here
For investors, the key issue isn’t whether Nebius can keep growing. It’s about whether the company can meet the enormous expectations already embedded in the stock.
That creates a different risk profile than investors would see in a mature technology company. Nebius still has to expand capacity, secure customers, and turn infrastructure investments into attractive long-term returns.
From here, I’d focus less on headlines and more on execution. Each quarter, I’d watch:
- Customer commitments
- Power deployment
- Infrastructure utilization
- Demand relative to capacity expansion
- Dilution and financing needs
- Customer concentration
Nebius remains interesting because few companies have positioned themselves this directly inside the AI infrastructure buildout.
It also warrants caution, as the path to a valuation that supports the most optimistic price targets remains very long. AI infrastructure is extremely capital-intensive. Nebius has to keep funding data centers, power capacity, and hardware while maintaining strong utilization rates.
Investors also need to consider the risk that AI compute becomes less scarce as competitors add more capacity.
The Bottom Line on Nebius Stock
Nebius may have one of the most compelling AI infrastructure stories in the market. Its revenue growth, Meta agreement, NVIDIA investment, and power expansion plans all support the idea that this company could become far more important over time.
But a $2,000 share price would require Nebius to become one of the foundational infrastructure platforms of the AI era. That’s possible enough to watch, but still far from proven.
For now, Nebius looks like a high-upside, high-expectation AI stock where execution matters more than excitement.
If you’re following the AI infrastructure buildout, Nebius deserves a place on your watchlist.
