The Truth Is Out There Somewhere

Anyone’s guess where and what it is

I guess I’m not alone in thinking along these lines?

We’re on a journey, but goodness knows where to?

My quest is trying to find some truth in what bombards us on a daily basis, but that’s just one facet of many.

You do get the very real feeling that something’s happening behind the scenes, something pushing us further down the road.

But, heh ho! Maybe I spend too much time on Elon Musk’s ‘X’ platform!

Various people forever banging on that, ‘ The End Is Nigh’, ‘ Enlightenment & Rapture, just around the corner, ’ The world is but a gigantic psyops.’ You get the gist.

Truth will out is a well known saying, so please forgive me when trying some on for size.

Here we go:-

Monday: Speculation Mounts!

• With an almost total absence of meaningful news clips of any note concerning the wars of this age, we have to endure speculation at best. Plenty of it being at its far worse.
• You name it, ‘X’ has cornered the market here, but you also have a nagging doubt that somewhere within it all may lie some truth?
• For with our glorious leaders being highlighted these days as doing what they do best, that is lie, what’s a few more in the offing?

So, as I say, ‘ here goes. ‘ The latest and its been nagging away for over seven days on this platform, is ‘ where exactly is Netanyahu?’

Normally his absence would be more than welcome, but of course speculation mounts as each passing day passes by without him.

Plenty of posts declaring the inevitable in their sometimes wholly made up world. ‘He’s dead,’ for instance they declare!

Adding to it all are fake videos in fact declaring, ‘ no he isn’t.’ The AI videos merely endorsing their wild speculative conclusions.

It all tends to feed on itself.

Other speculative posts have said, ‘ Israel has been bombed and smashed,’ as per Gaza, but no one deems to tell us the truth! So how in hell are we led to believe in anything?

‘ All fake news? ‘ One of Donald Trump’s favourite sayings.

It’s a case of picking the bare bones of any remaining truth from a war carcass of any kind . If you can, nie on impossible.

What is true,( I think), is that Donald has recently asked for help in ensuring shipping, (mainly oil tankers), can safely negotiate the Straits of Hormuz. Excatly where Iran’s concentrating its efforts to ensure they cannot.

Yes, Iran still appears to be alive and kicking, despite American reports that its pulverised it into the dirt. Has this all been mere speculation too?

At the moment we now have two main leaders in this war, ( the BBC last night actually called it a conflict!)

Namely, the new Iranian leader and possibly Netanyahu actually being alive, because other people tell us he is. How soon before we have a story depicting the opposite on our hands?

At least Fake News is well constructed and strongly supported, or so it seems!

Strange days, becoming ever stranger by the day. Another truism though is the rocketing fuel prices as a consequence of whatever Trump is up to.

Before all this kicked off, a litre of unleaded petrol was £1.31 in the UK. Currently at our local forecourt, it’s now ballooned to £1.44 in such a short time span.

*Despite Rachel Reeves, UK Chancellor, declaring in the newspapers, ‘ she’s on to it and woe betide anyone needlessly profiteering.’ Empty words and just how long before the pumps actually become empty!*

That last bit being my very own speculation. Anyone can play at this game.

17th March, 2026, Tuesday. More Plausible?

A late post on ‘X’ is perhaps the more likely grasp of some reality remaining in this tale?

For it points out Israel’s much vaunted Anti-missile Dome System eventually failed to quell the endless stream of missiles from Iran? Though even this tale from afar has not been substantiated. As a consequence of this failure, Netanyahu is wary of appearing anywhere in public.

Even his son has largely stopped with his endless stream of social media posts and if he does post anything, it’s a view of him well after he’s vacated the scene! Long gone, but I suspect Netanyahu hasn’t.

As John Lennon used to sing, ‘ Nowhere Man, please listen. The World is at your command.’

Now, there’s more than a bit of truth in there somewhere.
