My Truth #4: All of life is a Supreme Dream

The initial posts here covered –

Here, GOD is the philosophy, APP is its application at the individual level, FUN is its application at the global level.

Today, we discuss Line 2 under GOD: All of life is a Supreme Dream

Line 1 said “There’s only the Supreme Dreamer”. The obvious next question: What is the Supreme Dreamer dreaming?

Here too, the word Supreme is important. It means beyond the limits of human understanding.

So what the Supreme Dreamer is dreaming is a Supreme Dream i.e. everything we experience is part of this Dream: people, places, events, relationships, joys, sorrows, thoughts, even our sense of being separate individuals.

Just as in a human dream, when in the dream everything appears real. It’s only when the dreamer wakes up does the dreamer realize that it was all a dream.

Something similar is true of the Supreme Dream. When we are in it, everything appears real. We need to “wake up” to realize this is a dream. The difference is that “waking up” to a Supreme Dream is actually a “sleeping down”, popularly called Death! (which we will discuss in a couple of days).

A Supreme Dream is my best-fit explanation of the world — the good, the bad and the ugly, all happening at the same time and space.

What are the major implications of this for us?

As we shall explore over the next few days –

1. Our first obligation is to “wake up” from the dream, and actually realize, “We are the Supreme Dreamer!”
2. Leading life as a Supreme Dream should take away the stress out of it
3. It should also lead us to treat our fellow “Dream-actors” with greater love and compassion.
