AI [Silver Bullet vs Occam’s Razor]
I’m currently developing an AI model that designs questions using a new meta-layer in the pre-LLM stage. I’ve designed the architecture of an sLLM model, coded it directly in Python, created a test version, and am now in the midst of MVP development. My plan is to first create a general-purpose model and then develop separate algorithms for each industry/service, but achieving milestones on the roadmap at a startup scale isn’t easy.
When faced with difficult and challenging problems at work, there’s a strong desire to solve them with a “silver bullet.” I instinctively search for a magical “Silver Bullet” or Occam’s Razor, which can cut through problems with a single stroke.
Upon reflection, it seems “Silver Bullet” is centered on ‘How to act,’ while “Occam’s Razor” is centered on ‘How to think.’ I realized that these two aren’t conflicting but rather complementary, and a mix of appropriate solutions would be beneficial.
However, when confronted with the reality that solutions aren’t easily found, I start to wonder if these two methods are merely retrospective interpretations by geniuses or lucky individuals. So, I find myself taking it one step at a time, steeling my resolve and diligently working on the structure and code like an ox.
I chant the mantra: “Step by step, nothing impossible”
